Town Center 4 - A Hub of Innovation

This newest building, by Cooper Carry, serves as a hub of innovation, collaboration, and human ingenuity for the UVA Research Park.  As part of a larger project team, our focus was to provide furnishings for the public amenity spaces and a complete design package for the fitness center. All furniture, signage and materials were selected to further the vision of balancing organic, nature-inspired materials with bold colors and geometric shapes. 

A large Lounge & Café welcomes visitors and encourages park residents to gather and collaborate.  An adjacent Outdoor Courtyard expands the Lobby with a variety of furniture that supports events and impromptu meetings alike, while the North Fork Meeting Center affords larger groups a much-needed flexible meeting and event venue, complete with high-tech AV and a generous Pre-Function lounge.

The public area concepts are continued in Success Studio North’s space through the use of geometric floor patterns creating separate zones for stretching, strength building, cardio and high intensity training.  Bold wall colors help further define the zones and inject energy into the bright open space.
